To further integrate Party classes and ideological-political education with professional education, and to cultivate students' ideals and beliefs, the School of Art Design and Media has established a monthly Artistic Party Class. By inviting professional Party member experts to deliver lectures, the program uses design works to interpret Party theories and the history of its development, continuously enhancing the ideological depth, theoretical rigor, and professional quality of the Party classes. Through embedded, situational, immersive, and interactive teaching methods, design works are integrated into theoretical instruction, the development of the Party is presented through historical reenactments, learning experiences are immersed in both in-class and extracurricular creative activities, and the content of the Party classes is internalized through teacher-student interaction. By delving into the essence of the Party classes, the program satisfies students’ thirst for professional knowledge while strengthening value guidance, helping students align their specific academic and career goals with the great objective of national rejuvenation.

Over the past five years, the Artistic Party Class has kept pace with the times and reflected the requirements of new-era development. It has strived to stay close to students in teaching theory, stay close to life in emphasizing practice, and stay close to society in fostering ideals, combining the content of the Party classes with students’ ideological realities, with national development and current affairs, and with thematic education and practical activities. A series of derivative brand activities have been launched, including “I Paint,” “I Write,” “I Speak,” and “I Lecture.” The reach of the Party classes has expanded significantly, their appeal has grown stronger, and it has become common to see students standing throughout the entire session just to listen. A growing number of outstanding students have become exemplary Party members. More students have strengthened their ideals and convictions and deepened their love for the country through these classes. They are innovating while inheriting and promoting China’s excellent traditional culture, striving to shine in the journey of national development, and working hard to grow into high-caliber design professionals capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.
