orn in 1984, Dr. Liu Miao graduated from the School of Design at Jiangnan University in 2006 with a major in Industrial Design. From 2006 to 2012, he pursued his master’s and doctoral degrees at Kobe Design University in Japan. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Design at the School of Art Design and Media, East China University of Science and Technology. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Liu serves as a Director of the Shanghai Society of Graphics and Vice Director of the Industrial Design Professional Committee. He is also a Director of the Xuhui District Minority Federation in Shanghai. His professional achievements include receiving the “Best of the Best” award at the Red Dot Design Award (Product Design), one of the world’s most prestigious design honors. He has also been selected for the Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program, recognizing his contributions to design research, education, and practice.
